Now with the funding solid, I am now going to come out in Support of this bill (When it comes to the Senate ofc ).  I was hesitant of this bill in it's previous iteration due to funding concerns, but after talking with Nev and seeing that the bill is fully funded I'm happy with it. 

I'm also happy with the Work/Volunteer Requirement, and though I was partially concerned about it harming people who were focused on studies, I'm glad it leaves a way so they can opt-out of the Requirement if needed.

I believe this bill will end up helping to give hard working Atlasians the education to succeed in their lives, and I happily support it.

Note: There is a slight conundrum here because I forgot about something: HSR, which formally creates CAF-12, needs to go through Senate debate, while this will just go for an up-or-down vote. I don't want to clog up a Senate-passed bills slot while there are so many more waiting, so would it be possible for PiT to hold off on Senate introduction or fhtagn to delay her signature until HSR is enacted?

Not the next budget. Just this specific fund, which also funds the High-Speed Rail and School Defense & Mental Health Reform bills (both of which contain the same clause). The funding from this bill, however, covers all three programs, meaning that if this bill is passed, the clause doesn't really do anything. It's mostly just to ensure we're not violating paygo by pushing funding for three bills to one.

Not the next budget. Just this specific fund, which also funds the High-Speed Rail and School Defense & Mental Health Reform bills (both of which contain the same clause). It's mostly just to ensure we're not violating paygo by pushing funding for three bills to one.

The one concern about this approach though, is that it needs to be added to the wiki with the linkage to the appropriations bill thing mentioned in the wiki since it is a condition on the passage of a future bill that does not exist, yet.

I just wanted to ask how Student Loan Refinancing would work/be changed under this bill, that's the one aspect I have a question on. (Even though I'm not in the house I still want to ask this now rather than later )

Basically if you have taken two or more Federal Student Loans, they will be consolidated into one Federal Direct Consolidation Loan, which shall have an interest rate no greater than 3%.
