An anti-war voter who wasn’t thinking about war in 1932 because of the Great Depression.

A World War 1 veteran who became a pacifist due to his wartime experiences and thus opted to vote for who he perceived to be the most anti-war candidate in each election. The only exceptions being his votes for Franklin Roosevelt in 1932 and 1936, which were attributed to his support for the New Deal.
