Election of lieutenant governors

The Lieutenant Governor isn't worth the salary that they're paid. I do like the idea of the electorate being able to choose the governor's successor though as opposed to just having it be the leader of the State Senate.

I'd probably choose a unicameral legislature with an odd number of members to avoid ties.
