A "revolution" is no different than any other kind of revolt; it just clothes itself in a fancier title. And, when you really think about it, half this game has been creating, fighting, or supporting one revolt or another. Here's a list of all the revolts that come to mind so far:

Poland I: Sejm v. Augustus III
America I: Indians and French v. Britian (and Indians)
Ireland I: Catholics v. Britain
Russia I: Ivan IV v. Elizabeth
Poland II: Alexander II v. Sejm/National Assembly
Russia II: Peter III v. Elizabeth/Paul/Catherine
HRE I: Holy Roman Empire v. Prussia
Moldova I: Moldova v. Ottomans
Russia III: Cossacks v. Russians/Polish/Crimeans
Netherlands I: Orangists v. Republicans
America II: Indians v. British

Honorable Mentions:
Norwegian Nobles
Egyptians
Georgians
Australian Aborigines
Croatians

In the pipeline:
Bulgaria, Greece, Wallachia, Finland? Sardinians? Somewhere in Austria? Colonists somewhere?

And I'm sure there are one or two I missed. And just remember: the whole line of revolt dominoes was started by X trying to become an absolute monarch. Thanks X.

On another note, even if the protestant-muslim coalition got a bad turn. I still believe they are by far the favorites to win agaibst the republicans.

Indeed, you all are quite vicious when it comes to formulating dissent in your opponents' lands.

I would make a distinction though, between revolts, civil wars, and wars between sovereign states. Events in the Netherlands recently and the initial Polish unrest were clear-cut civil wars. Fighting with the natives in America and the conflict in the Holy Roman Empire, on the other hand, were warring between sovereign groups, not so much revolts.

The rest are revolts though.

Sorry for how long it’s taking, but the update should be up either tonight or tomorrow. Monday-Tuesday is generally my busiest time of the week...

I'm stepping down as Ottoman player. Don't take me wrong: this game is really good, as a matter of fact it's so good it's above my level now. I'm unable to follow it throught and keep things together.

I understand your frustration. It is stressful to have so many **** to handle.

Maybe you should take a bit more time before taking a final decision

I got detached from this and I don't want to cause complications by being all "hm, should I stay or not?"

Well,
If you leave you will regret it.

I suggest you take some time to consider it. The turn basically.

Either you stay, or either the Ottomans becomes Lumine controlled for the troops for the rest of the war, and we find an another player later.

Fine. Best wishes for everything.

So, I suggest that Lumines has total control of the Ottoman army until the war is over. And then we will find a new player (or new players).

X told me recently that he would love to join again this game when he will have more free time (busy with schools right now).  There is Averroes Nix who is interested in playing, sadly when he told me, we were already full.

Well, the last time you both wanted to quit, I made some search about who could be interested to play this game. And I recruited Mike88, Cynic (RIP) and Louisville in this game.

I can recruit new people if Spamage wants the game to develop even more.

And if Lumine wants to quit too. I suggest that we restart the game 5 years later or maybe even 10. In this turn we would have given instructions to Spamage about what we wanted to do during these 5 years.

I want the game to continue!

No need to get ahead of everything. The game is fine. Kalwejt stepping down doesn't (necessarily) mean the sky is falling and that something drastic needs to happens.

Anyway, thanks for being in the game Kal. You were grand.

Well, just to be clear, I meant if I have more free time and it's still going on after finals (so like late December).

...of course, then you'd have to stop after a few weeks because of the new semester. If you don't think you can join at this point in the year when things are are still pretty easy I don't think you'll be able to join period.

I can't take on the Ottomans through military control, I'm struggling to remain on the game as it is due to RL issues.

True.  Yeah, I probably shouldn't join.

I know I have little right to suggest anything, but maybe, instead of looking for new players now, make more countries NPC, allowing those filling them switch to major ones we need in the game? We can have a NP Sardinia, but not Prussia.
