Even if he did run, Arkansas has moved too far to the right for him to win. Cotton would beat him by something like 55-45.

He could've run against Boozman last year, but he didn't. Early polls showed a 10 pt lead for him but were he to get into the race Boozman probably narrowly prevails.

I'm pretty sure Beebe is done with elected politics. He could probably make it close with Cotton, but I doubt he'd defeat him.

He'd be 74 which is a bit long in the tooth to be starting a senatorial career.

Another question... Will Sarah Huckabee Sanders primary Cotton? It would be epic!

He would lose by 14 rather than by 17

I think that he wanted to be in the Senate he would have run in 2016.

Probably not, and the Arkansas Democratic Party has all but imploded. They won't seriously contest a senate seat in Arkansas in at least 8-10 years.

Isn't the Democratic Party even considered as a third party in Arkansas by Wikipedia?

You mean this? Well, Democrats only put up a candidate in one district.

In any case, Cotton is awful and deserves to go down in a Republican primary, but it's not going to happen.

Dems will probably need 3 seats to force a tie in the Senate and Gardner and Tillis are ginners, they need 1 more.
