THE GOLD STANDARD OF POLLING HAS SPOKEN.

Seriously, how hilarious would be that Michigan elects a guy named 'Kid Rock' as its senator?

Regardless of how they did last year, this is a troll poll.

Lolno. Rock probably will win the primaries (thank you deplorables!), but Spenditnow will crush him in the general election (something like 56%-41%).

That's what most people said last year too.

I know they were accurate last year but I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in a polling firm who goes on Fox News to talk about how Trump's approval ratings are better than every pollster is showing.

But seriously, If this convinces Kid Rock to run then all the better for Stabenow.

Trafalgar had Trump at 306 electoral votes. They also had Karen Handel beating Ossoff!

God, the GOP could actually realistically get 59 seats. Almost makes one think they should just sit out the rest of this legislative session and wait for the ship to come in.

Kid Rock as a Republican could probably retain the vast majority of Obama-Trump voters in Michigan.

So they are polling 'Kid Rock', but in all seriousness would his name be 'Robert Ritchie' on the ballot? Would that make a substantial difference?

I honestly think it would lol

Anyway MI-Sen is not Safe D this just validates what I've been saying for a while now. Smart money still on Stabenaw of course but there's no reason to think she is in a better position Jon Tester as of now, given she has a clear opponent who polls well against her and has plenty of self-funding capability.

Serious question though: is it actually certain he is even running?

I think it has more to do with name recognition than anything else. When Joe Piscopo was thinking of running for Governor of NJ, I knew quite a few people who said they'd vote for him even though they didnt know what party he belonged to or his political leanings. Stabenow seems abit anonymous, wouldn't surprise me if her name recognition wasnt all that great for being a two term senator.

She's a three term Senator

Anyway, the GOP deserves to run grifters like Kid Rock instead of impressive veteran candidates like John James at this point

I cant count:

2000, 2006, 2012 = 3 terms

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Kid is ahead just because of his name ID. I'd hope Stabenow takes him seriously though if he does get the nomination.

I know trafalgar leans but this close to 50% with so little undecided voters is pretty amazing, even in a GOP-lean poll

If you all want to believe a true Republican pollster, go right ahead. I don't care what they supposedly got right, this poll is narrative setting crap.

Debbie Stabenow will put this trash in the can where it belongs and yes, I said trash. He makes Trump look like the Pope.

Michigan is one of those impossible to poll accurately states, and we're over a year away from midterms. What are you people talking about? Yeesh

Uh, name rec? I guarantee you not as many people know who Stabenow is in Michigan as everyone on sites like these seem to think. Hell, I guarantee you half of New Yorkers couldn't tell you our senators.
I'd think that there would be much more undecideds for not knowing who Stabenow is.

Nelson and Manchin are the only Trump state democrats to lead a poll yet we are supposed to believe 2018 is a democratic wave.
