I don't know anything about what they do, but it seems Tennessee had 5 Dem Reps before 2010. Could one of John Tanner, Bart Gordon, or Lincoln Davis run for TN-Sen in 2018?

I know it's still a long shot but would it be likely R at worst?

The former Dem Reps here are former for a reason, I believe a Republican win is almost guaranteed here, most of the Democrats lack charisma and the right political aligning. Karl Dean will gain some Dem. Votes in the Governor's race though, but likely not enough.. For the Senate, it depends who's the GOP Nominee. Since Blackburn isn't challenging Corker, maybe some former Representative from the 90's or some no name former state rep.
