There was a UN security council resolution condemning North Korea that had the support of the other 14 members, including China, but it was Russia who vetoed. Scapegoating Russia for everything has consequences.

North Korea trolls so hard. The idea that they'd launch an ICBM to fly past way past Seoul and Tokyo to hit Guam is such a joke.

ISIS is probably trying to figure out how to make it look like North Korea just attacked Guam.

If what you're saying is true, then Trump is Dr. Strangelove levels of hawkishness. There has been no nuclear war in 72 years, and he gets in and in this case, starts one in less than a year. Of course jfern and half the people who were hysterical about bombing Syria have nothing to say. They were worried about Hillary Clinton starting wars.

Hillary once said that Trump was too friendly with North Korea. I guess he took her advice and became more of a hawk.

China would go to war to stop a unification of Korea from South to North. They continue to make that very clear and have obviously done it before. One of the many reason a first strike against the North is unacceptable.

Some in China wouldn't mind a Seoul led united Korea if there were no US troops north of the DMZ and they weren't going to be hostile to China.

Russia Provides New Internet Connection to North Korea

"A major Russian telecommunications company appears to have begun providing an Internet connection to North Korea. The new link supplements one from China and will provide back-up to Pyongyang at a time the US government is reportedly attacking its Internet infrastructure and pressuring China to end all business with North Korea."

Blaming Russia for the Democratic party sucking was sure a brilliant move here.

My guess is that 1) the Russians are feeding the North Koreans missile technology, including the ability to hit the U.S., as well as giving them hacking assistance, and 2) Trump (who the Russians put into office) wants to start a war to lift his sagging approval ratings. The end result will be great for Russia: Heavy, potentially nuclear catastrophe for the U.S. and two major U.S. allies, and possible war between the U.S. and China, while it itself sits pretty and perhaps has a chance to grab more of Ukraine / Belarus while the U.S. is distracted.

There's a good chance that Russia is helping North Korea, but I doubt that they actually want war.

Well, looks like Japan might change its constitution thanks to North Korea's missile program.

Report that NK hacked Daewoo Shipbuilding and got warship blueprints https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/31/north-korea-hacked-daewoo-shipbuilding-took-warship-blueprints-south-korea-lawmaker.html

SK needs to up their cyber game in a big way to prevent this. Second strike for SK failing to protect mil docs.

The news about China being mad about this came out before the news about this actual event.

NK’s hacking abilities are insane. Call me paranoid, but there’s no way they’re not getting outside help.

Bear in mind who their patron is, and how good said patron is at the same thing

That IT security is hard, and that the US government has consistently worked to make online security worse for easier spying has more to do with it. We reap what we sow.

You can definitely thank the National Insecurity Agency there.

Come on, North Korea can't hit the east coast. Yet, at least.
