In 2020, Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) and her running mate, Governor Roy Cooper (D-NC) beat President Trump and VP Pence. In 2024, former Governor Nikki Haley (R-SC), Trump's Secretary of State 2018-2021, wins the GOP nomination against former VP Pence. Haley now runs against President Harris.

Who wins in such a woman versus woman match-up? Discuss with maps.

Good question. I say between high 40s and low 50s approval on election day. She basically undid most of Trump's policies, passed an infrastructure program early on and paid family leave. No major foreign crisis though relations with Russia even got cooler. Alliances with Mexico, Canada, Europe and Australia were strengthened.

Ok well in that case she wins (I can make a map later). Big accomplishments for her, and no foreign policy crisis means Haley can't tout her tenure as UN Ambassador (and maybe soon SoS) as much as she'd want if there were a crisis

Senator Nikki Haley (R-SC)/Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) - 318 EV
President Kamala Harris (D-CA)/Vice President Martin Heinrich (D-NM) - 220 EV

(Lindsey Graham retires and Haley resigns as UN Ambassador to run for his seat in 2020)

I think Harris would be weak with the WWC due to her "coastal liberal" status, so the Great Lakes folds for Haley/Gardner. Haley also has strength in the south, so she's able to carry North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. By 2024, Virginia is long gone for the GOP unless a landslide occurs.

yeah, no. This isn't possible under the conditions set out at the start.
Also, the EV map will be different in 2024, btw
