RIP Jerry Lewis.

His telethons were serious business for many years.

The main bad thing he did was toward the end of his life was in a December 2015 interview to EWTN,  in which he praised Trump and bashed refugees.

Common thing for entertainers from back then with stereotypically Jewish or Eastern European sounding names to go by something considered more "marketable" to mainstream USA audiences.

That or you just have a lame sounding name. Like Marion Morrison or Norma Mortenson.
