2020: Al Gore vs. Donald Trump

I recently saw on a few sites that Al Gore has publically expressed interest in running against Trump. So, how would he do? Please discuss.

wikipedia shows that he has declined to run.

At the time I posted it, that was different

I could see Gore winning somewhere between 335 (worst result) and 376 (best result) electoral votes. And I'd say he'd win at least 52% of the popular vote. But he's not going to run.

Pres. Donald Trump/VP. Mike Pence: 219 Electoral Votes, 45.1%

I think Gore would take North Carolina and probably Iowa and Maine's CD 2 as well. Georgia and Ohio would also be quite possible.

Considering the southern routes, I’d expect Gore to definitely carry Georgia.
