What are you talking about? The point, that obviously went over your head, was that the first world is being told to have fewer children to help the environment, but then told we need unlimited immigration to make up for our low birth rates. We should be encouraging people in third world countries to have fewer children, and let the first world utilize robotics to help their aging populations instead of taking in massive waves of immigrants forever.

With the increasing levels of automation there is simply no need to constantly increase the supply of unskilled labor. And growing the population through immigration in order to prop up ponzi scheme economic systems is not sustainable. Putting restrictions on immigration to only high skilled people needed to fill a skills shortage is better for our own working class and will lead to an increase in wages, and a decrease in the cost of living as the demand for housing stops increasing so fast.

Jeff is spot on. Regardless of the politics of immigration, the math does not lie. If you extrapolate TFR from countries with large immigration rates, naturally you will have those same immigrants having more children than the low current TFR across the board in the US. While it would not equate to an overnight population eclipse of current US demos, it would put significantly more strain on the jobs situation and increase the need for benefits.
