1) It's no coincidence that Harris was the first 2020 hopeful to be attacked and smeared by the alt-left. Obviously they think she is the biggest threat to their dear leader.

Campaign Zero rated Bernie's platform the best of all of the candidates running. You'd think that would be what matters. But here we are 3 years later, and people are attacking him for this. These pathetic attacks show that establishment Democrats have nothing good to attack him with.

It's becoming more obvious that Sanders has some degree of racist undertones, especially after this and his remarks on Barack Obama at a ceremony to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights movement... in an 80% black city.

Bernard grew up in a white bubble. No POC was on his congressional staff, and the Vermont NAACP has never received feedback from the senator. Meanwhile, Vermont has the highest black incarnation rates in the country and Bernard doesn't lift his waving finger to help activate change in his state government. For all the civil right activism in his youth he decides it was best to move from a sizable minority population in New York to the whitest state in the nation.  Should it come to a surprise to non-cultists that Bernie has racial prejudices towards POC?

Let's be honest here, the entire south seceeding wouldn't necessarily be a terrible thing. Republicans could have their dream state and liberals could have theirs. The "North" would become more like Canada and northwestern Europe with nationalized health care, free education, higher taxes and an overall larger welfare state, while the "South" would try to imagine that it is still 1950 with guns everywhere, illegal abortion, defacto racial segregation and zero welfare. I wonder where most prosperous, innovative people would want to live?

I still think it's too early to say, but if I had to guess I would say no. Look at how energized the Democratic base are, and how well they've done in special elections since Trump was sworn in. If these same people really turnout in 2020, Trump is toast.

Which is exactly what everyone thought after 2010, it's true that Obama still had a lot of leeway and if Trump lost the same points Obama did he'd lose bigly...but then again, Trump is a master of hypocrisy. He'll find one flaw, just one, and define the person by said flaw until their approvals artificially drop below his or at about his.

Suddenly, high(er) turnout will override the midterm successes and put Trump over.

Re, did you read context at all? Torie is basically correct in the summary.

The post wasn't a major point but someone replied to it saying that there's basically no blacks in Minnesota at all, an absurd statement. And then everyone missed my point by talking about how other places have a higher black population than Minnesota which does not disprove the thesis. "This place has a higher black population than Minnesota" does not mean that Minnesota has a near neglible black population. And then the red herring if how Minnesota has a lot of lily white rural counties....because that's not the part I'm talking about.
