btw I wasn't updating the spreadsheet because I wasn't sure about the bonus point system you wanted to use Tongue

I'm not sure it'll work. Just go with one point for one correct pick at this point.

The playoffs aren't even done yet, but playoff odds for NEXT YEAR are already up!

Bama 5/2
Clem 6/1
UGA, OhSt 8/1
Mich 10/1
PSU 12/1
OU 18/1
Aub, Miami, MichSt, Tex, Wis 25/1
LSU, Wash 30/1
FSU, ND, Stan, USC, VT, WVU 40/1
A&M 50/1
UF, Ore, TCU 60/1
Ariz, Boise, KSU Mizzou, NCSt, OkSt, UCLA, Utah, Wake 100/1

Anyone see anything interesting? I'm a bit surprised Michigan (and Michigan State for that matter) is so high. Also, that Oklahoma State is so low; it seems like they've been going 10-2 or so for years.

I'm a little shocked Boise State is even 100-1. The committee proved with UCF this year that non Power-Five schools (like Boise State) won't even sniff the playoff.

Maybe counting on the UCF blowback to help the G5? Oh, and apparently they play @Oklahoma State in September and BYU in November. Perhaps them being good is factored in?

Alabama is in trouble as the third quarter begins...they are down 13-0 and they have been having trouble moving the ball all game.

SO BEAUTIFUL to see our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's name being invoked for creating this comeback. The three people of the Trinity - Christ, St. Nick and The Notorious DJT - all converged in one spot and miraculous things are happening.

I am NOT happy about it at all. Georgia was leading most of the game, then they blew it the 4th, got lucky on a missed Bama FG. OT: Georgia took the lead on a long FG. Bama got the ball: big sack, then the long bomb: game-winning TD.

I am sick and tired of these these inbred cousinhumpers from Tuscaloosa known as Bama winning national football titles!!!!!  🖕🖕🖕🖕😠😠😠😠😠

I know you were talking about the Super Bowl, but choking really is a statewide tradition.

SB nation points out that the game tying TD pass shouldn’t have counted because of a Alabama false start never called.

Edit
A few bad calls that went against Georgia

If the ref didn't call it, it didn't happen...or at least that's how it works in the NBA.

These missed calls that went in Bama's favor are more proof that the refs are in the pocket of the satanic Crimson Tide!

Viewership numbers are out; numbers for the championship were up 8% from last year. It was the second most watched bowl game ever, though still well below the monster numbers that Ohio State vs Oregon produced in 2015. Playoff viewership overall was up 18% on last year, boosted by a massive 30% increase from the Rose Bowl. The Peach Bowl was the most watched non-playoff NY6 game and bowl season viewership overall was up 10%.

From a ratings standpoint, I guess it was a successful playoff...but I can't help but think that Alabama-Oklahoma would have done even better.

Details here.

I thought an all SEC national championship game would be terrible for ratings?
