I'm a TCU fan so I have tons of reasons to hate Baker Mayfield, but y'all crazy if you don't think he's winning the Heisman at this point.....

Why does this thread get worse every single page?

The only wrong thing Baker Mayfield did was apologize. All he did was get back at people attacking and disrespecting him. Very shameful that OU stripped the only logical Heisman contender of his Senior Day chance to shine.

Baker Mayfield is SCUM!  I am so sick of the guy, first the disrespectful flag planting, and now he's injecting our televisions with filth.

No heisman for him.

Personally, I think Bryce Love was already the favorite...and Mayfield could still finish third behind Saquon Barkley.

Do you not watch ESPN or sports in general?? Mayfield is a HUGE favorite to win the Heisman.

Neither have the Heisman voters. The Heisman's bias against west coast players is well documented and even has its own section on the Heisman Wikipedia page. Bryce Love is nowhere near transcendent enough a player this year to overcome being on a west coast team that isn't playoff-bound.

With Baker Mayfield benched against West Virginia, I am switching my pick from the Sooners to the Mountaineers.

He’s not benched. He’s just not starting.

Half a game of Mayfield just isn't enough for me to justify taking Oklahoma against a good West Virginia squad...remember they also lost to Iowa State at home.

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/11/21/report-lsu-victory-would-not-save-kevin-sumlins-job/

Apparently Kevin Sumlin will be fired after the Texas A&M/LSU game, and Jimbo Fisher is the Aggies top choice to replace him.

This would appear to solve a lot of problems for both Texas A&M and Florida State...

West Virginia won’t have their staring QB Will Grier either  for the game.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS?

FLORIDA. STATE. AND. ITS. FANS. DO. NOT. WANT. JIMBO. GONE.

Replacing a national championship winning coach is not easy and nobody wants to do it, especially with other big fish on the market looking for coaches. The vast majority of the fanbase wants to give Jimbo a chance to right the ship by changing assistants and the administration still LOVES Fisher.

This is going to turn out the same way the Saban to Texas rumors turned out.

In other words, Jimbo is using A&M to leverage a raise out of FSU.

That's unlikely to happen either. Jimbo just got a raise last year that has been heavily criticized for being wildly in Jimbo's favor and his leverage didn't exactly go up this year. FSU wants him to return, but it won't go out of its way to stop him from leaving.

From his press conferences, it sounds like what he was really pressing for is a new football-only facility: basically the hottest new toy that coaches want to have to show off during recruiting. He's slightly more likely to get that, but the boosters already paid for renovated football dorms and a state of the art indoor practice facility in the last five years and Jimbo has sort of trashed the boosters in press conferences for not giving him everything immediately earlier this year so who knows.

Next year we should do like an ESPN pick em or something like that for this where we have a page with computer generated top games that we pick, a lot easier to track and score Tongue

That does make more sense...but I'm getting the games I'm choosing from ESPN, and I don't know if anyone has a computer program that generates the top games. If you come up with one let me know.
