Oh, for the record, I am switching my Georgia Tech pick to Tennessee. The loss of their HB makes this season look desolate, and I will not feel good about their chances for awhile.

Put it on your picks sheet and it will be registered.
Seems improper to edit the post after a game has played, so shown below.

September 9

Cincinnati @ Michigan
Louisville @ North Carolina
Pittsburgh @ Penn State
Indiana @ Virginia
TCU @ Arkansas - My heart's for Ark, but this year - I give into dfwlibertylover's baseness.
Nebraska @ Oregon - UNL is a known terrible. Oregon likely is too, but there is a chance they aren't, I reckon.
Hawaii @ UCLA - hopefully Rosen blows it, but c'mon....
Auburn @ Clemson
South Carolina @ Missouri
Oklahoma @ Ohio State
Georgia @ Notre Dame - Why do you betray me Eason?
Stanford @ USC - sigh
Minnesota @ Oregon State - 2 terrible teams though I believe OSU is better and their best and worse at their worst. Hopefully Gophers see some growth.

Utah @ BYU
Boise State @ Washington State
Houston @ Arizona
San Diego State @ Arizona State - my heart discourages this one as well, but if NMSU came that close...

15-2 + 10-5 = 25-7

RINO Tom went 13-4, which puts him into a tie with me.Progressive Democrat's wins are 10+11=21. I didn't check any others so please do double check.  Is it possible to track this in a Google Spreadsheet with formulas?

September 16

Air Force at Michigan

Oklahoma State at Pittsburgh

Baylor at Duke

Clemson at Louisville

Wisconsin at BYU

Tennessee at Florida - Another year of useless hype for both teams. I had UF preseason, but the weather isn't exactly giving this offense even a chance of getting somewhat in sync.

SMU at TCU - SMU is back, baby! But not that back idt lol

Purdue at Missouri

Oregon State at Washington State

Colorado State at Alabama

LSU at Mississippi State

Kansas State at Vanderbilt - Battle of the super-underrated teams imo. Shame that Vandy has to lose much as I dislike them, but I think they will prove to be legitimate soon enough.

Kentucky at South Carolina - my sleeper vs. Dereich's sleeper. The stakes are high, and I shall not yield!

Arizona State at Texas Tech - ugh, pains me to pick this as both are trash. I don't actually think ASU's offense can keep up, but I want Tech's nonsensical Top 25 votes gone, so hopefully late game improvements carry over.

Texas at USC

Stanford at San Diego State

Mississippi at California - ehhhh who care. Both sides do it. I'm a centrist.

Here are the actual standings: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FpeynaJSSJRZ4kzJbI4IajmB9NSI2_lVd5bhz_0gvDY/edit?usp=sharing

Let me know if I input any of your picks wrong. It's easy for it to auto-fill the word 'State' afterwards if I'm not paying attention. (may be advisable to make this a drop-down menu to avoid it, but I don't know Google Spreadsheets nearly as well as Excel)

Alabama Indy   26   81.25%
Sprouts Farmers Market   25   78.13%
RINO Tom   25   78.13%
New York Express   23   71.88%
Progressive Democrat   23   71.88%
SJoyce   23   71.88%
Extreme Republican   23   71.88%
ltomlinson   23   74.19%
Illinwek   22   68.75%
Santander   20   62.50%
JGibson   20   66.67%
Dereich   19   59.38%
Birch Bayh 2020   11   73.33%
Del Tachi   10   66.67%
CMB222   10   66.67%
Rjjr77   10   66.67%
dfwlibertylover   0   #DIV/0!

My usual rate to build that is probably $500, but it's free if I get a trophy at the end of this. Smiley

You need to pick Georgia-Mississippi State!!

(Also Memphis is in the American which is a better conference than the Mountain West Tongue Notre Dame got ranked for destroying Temple in classic ND fashion that inspired hope. Vs #11 Georgia was not a bad performance!)

I will post shortly just debating a couple.

September 21
Temple at South Florida

September 22
Virginia at Boise State
Utah at Arizona

September 23
NC State at Florida State - Not ready to pick NC State on the road, but this is the type of game they'd show up for.
Texas Tech at Houston
Texas A&M at Arkansas
Ohio at Eastern Michigan - eh, Ohio is probably slightly better, but EMU needs the game much more given the strength of their division. Gotta protect your house.
UCF at Maryland
Alabama at Vanderbilt
USC at California - no sense in picking an upset if only bae will be gaining on me. We'll probably cheer for one though!
TCU at Oklahoma State
Toledo at Miami(FL)
Duke at North Carolina - Would love to see UNC back on track, but there are too many obvious holes to pick them even at home.
Louisiana Tech at South Carolina
Cincinnati at Navy
Michigan at Purdue
Syracuse at LSU
Mississippi State at Georgia
Penn State at Iowa
Florida at Kentucky
Southern Illinois at Memphis - SIU is terrible...
Notre Dame at Michigan State - the one game I did switch on during the week. Notre Dame's offense is probably too legitimate and MSU still needs a bit to fully rebuild - let's hope for a better result though!
Washington at Colorado - Another upset I want to believe in, but Colorado's offense is not the same with Montez in there - it was quite obvious last year, and it has not been better this year. Hope the crowd brings their best.
UCLA at Stanford

September 29
Miami(FL) at Duke

Nebraska at Illinois

USC at Washington State

September 30
Indiana at Penn State

Oklahoma State at Texas Tech

California at Oregon

Arizona State at Stanford

Iowa at Michigan State - Michigan State looked awful vs Notre Dame, Iowa looks to be recuperating some

Maryland at Minnesota

Northwestern at Wisconsin

Vanderbilt at Florida

Houston at Temple

Syracuse at NC State - classic NC State terrible game potential! but MTSU dropped me off the SU bandwagon hard.

Georgia at Tennessee

Florida State at Wake Forest - Things don't happen unless someone is here to dream big

Eastern Michigan at Kentucky

Miami(OH) at Notre Dame

Mississippi State at Auburn - had Auburn pre-season in spite of ranking the Bulldogs higher, but I'll change it up.

Marshall at Cincinnati

Memphis at UCF - toughie!!

South Carolina at Texas A&M

Clemson at Virginia Tech - dream big!

Mississippi at Alabama

Northern Illinois at San Diego State

Colorado at UCLA

Somehow I really doubt that amidst Francois injury and hurricane, losing on the road to a team that year-in and year-out has one of the top defenses in the country, would impact his job.

New rule: Only list the team you think is going to win, single spaced. Any analysis after the list. I do not have time for this for so many people nor do I have time for a data validation test.

Thanks.

BYU at Mississippi State
South Carolina at Tennessee
Eastern Michigan at Army
Old Dominion at Marshall
Oklahoma at Texas
Purdue at Wisconsin
Virginia at North Carolina
Northwestern at Maryland
Vanderbilt at Mississippi
Toledo at Central Michigan
Navy at Memphis Sad My preseason pick and I'm sticking with it after Navy's weak performance to date. GO NAVY!
Wyoming at Utah State

Utah at USC
Michigan State at Minnesota

Boise State at San Diego State

GAME OF THE WEEK, BABY! Villanova @ James Madison (No, I am not actually paying $200 a ticket to watch us get shellacked by 2-3 scores. Still the most deserving site for GameDay by far, but even a slightly down JMU will likely not bring this to a one-score game. North Dakota State @ Youngstown State is the one I am most excited to watch play out.)

October 19

Louisiana-Lafayette at Arkansas State

Memphis at Houston

October 20

Marshall at Middle Tennessee

Colorado State at New Mexico - a bit scared after last week's performance, but CoSt should rebound

October 21

Oklahoma at Kansas State

Oklahoma State at Texas

South Florida at Tulane

Wake Forest at Georgia Tech - Homer pick!

LSU at Mississippi

Maryland at Wisconsin

Iowa State at Texas Tech

Iowa at Northwestern - Seems ripe for an upset with NU coming on last week. Genuine uncertainty since that was done against a very injured team and Iowa's losses do look better

Temple at Army

Louisville at Florida State

Akron at Toledo

Boston College at Virginia

Western Michigan at Eastern Michigan - ripe for an upset with a shortened week but WMU in a squeaker. More heartbreak in Ypsilanti.

Tennessee at Alabama

Syracuse at Miami(FL) - I want to, I want to, I want to, but no. Miami by a FG. Cuse is different in the Dome.

Indiana at Michigan State

UCF at Navy

Illinois at Minnesota

Oregon at UCLA - Ugly game! Homer pick.

Kentucky at Mississippi State

North Texas at Florida Atlantic

Michigan at Penn State

USC at Notre Dame

Arizona at California

Wyoming at Boise State

Fresno State at San Diego State

Colorado at Washington State

For goodness sakes, this has nothing to do with an error in coaching and a very minor one, if any, in recruiting! Jimbo would instantly become the most coveted coach across the south and likely an even broader terrain. A bad season decimated by injuries is no grounds for firing a college coach who is the face of the program!

A coach who had three consecutive losing seasons to start a career versus a coach coming off a national championship with an .800 winning percentage, who lost his QB, is developing a top freshman, and is playing in the toughest division in football. Hmmm

I feel very dumb for having picked USC because from the get-go, I was pro-Irish, but I guess that's what I guess for copying Santander's picks as my template while traveling Tongue

I have literally never seem a college team fail so badly on shallow crossing routes before. This is low high school ball. I was literally yelling not to run the clinching play. Shame EMU was favoured by 2.
