What does it mean to be "pro-Islam?"

I'm certainly defensive about it to what I feel are a number of unwarranted attacks.  If I feel Islam is just a religion, fairly similar to the other monotheistic religions, does that amount to being '
pro' or 'apathetic?'

You find States to be pro-Islam?

And if you make a part two, can I be in it?

I'm very "pro-Islam" in the sense that I don't think it's an unredeemable mess that should be obliterated off the face of the planet and that I think that the vast majority of Muslims are good people.  I'm not "pro-Islam" in the sense that I think that Islam is a wonderful thing and that everyone should be a Muslim.  I don't think this is a very well-worded question.

Were you expecting nuance and maturity in the question, considering the source?

So what should I have said instead of "pro-Islam"?

Good to see me in the lower middle of most of these lists! I consider myself a realist when it comes to my views on Islam. I simply state the obvious. Wink
