Someone who always votes for the most authoritarian option.

Relatively affluent and/or genetically lucky (would have been a minimum of 73 years old in 1912).

I assume one or two lifetime residents of Hillsborough County, FL fit the bill. Breckenridge won it handily and Debs got 17-18% of the vote there in 1912 (second place in the four-way race).

An amusing side-note...when I first saw this thread I thought the idea of an 1860 voter still voting in 1912 was kind of freaky, but I probably wouldn't give a second thought to a 1964 voter still voting in 2016. Perception of time is a strange thing.

Someone who always votes for the most authoritarian option.

Such a person would likely think of the authoritarians as the other guys.  In both cases they may be someone who sees themselves standing against industrial capitalism and elite interests in favor of the small farmer - the Breckinridge voters being heirs of Jacksonianism. On the other hand the Breckingridge voter is likely to be in spirit fiercely independent (in spite of, in many cases, a dependence directly or indirectly on slavery) and having an attachment to the idea of ownership of property, which would not sit easily with socialist ideology.

Most Breckinridge voters were probably dead by the time Debs came along, so probably nonexistent.
