Yeah.  It was a joke initiative that much to my amusement is passing
Sadly, Q changed the ballot so many people are voting against it.

Hmm.  I suppose I messed that one up, too.  Ebowed and Jake voted in the first few minutes as I was still changing things around.  I should have locked the thread, but in my haste to get voting open in time, I failed to do so.  Several later voters then copied the initiative numbers and names from their ballots, and the discrepancies continued.  Can voter intent be determined to clear this up?

In the future, I think the person conducting the election should publish the ballot in advance so that citizens may note any mistakes on that ballot before the election actually begins.  There was a lot of confusion surrounding this vote.  If I am ever entrusted with conducting elections again, I will take precautions to ensure that something like this does not happen again.

If their ballot says something like:

Initiative #56 (FEC Initiative) - Nay

Then we can conclude they would vote Nay on the FEC Initiative. If it says:

Initiative #56 - Nay

We can conclude that they would've voted Nay on the Ensuring Voter Rights Initiative.

On a serious note, I have not engaged in any vicious attacks or partisan rhetoric.

Heh, that's a good one! Wink

Ilikeverin, since Section II, Clause I of the Midwest constitution states:
"The election will be administered by the federal Secretary of Forum Affairs, or the Chief Justice of the federal Supreme Court, according to the wishes of the Governor.  If the Governor does not choose, the election will be held by the federal Secretary of Forum Affairs."

Does Owl's and my ballot count?

That's the second dog I've heard with the same name as me. The other was a governor, though. Wink

Yes.  It's administered by me, but it's still not a federal election Smiley
