To answer Senator Scott's question, if confirmed, I fully intend to work with President Goldwater in finding a suitable candidate who can meet the demands of the position as Secretary of Internal Affairs as my replacement. In the meantime, I am more than willing to assist in any capacity that I am legally allowed to ensure that important domestic issues are addressed, and to make this transition as smooth and with as few complications as possible.

I cannot speak for President Goldwater, as I am not him, nor do I have any way of knowing his thoughts.

What I do know is that the resignation of former President dfwlibertylover was a shock to me as much as it was to all of us, and I fully believe that President Goldwater plans to do the best he can given the sudden circumstances. And I, as well as the people who voted for dfwlibertylover/Goldwater, have full faith in his ability to continue being a strong leader that we need in Atlasia.

I will vote to confirm. It is vital for the function of the government that such an important and high-level position as the Vice Presidency does not go unfilled for too long. Additionally, the nominee is exceptionally qualified. Among other governmental positions that she has held, she has served in the Atlasian House of Representatives and has served as the Speaker of the Southern Chamber of Delegates.

As Vice President, I plan to continue and expand upon the successes of the past six months in terms of VP activity and engagement in the Congressional administration. I plan to maintain regular contact with President Goldwater, House Speaker North Carolina Yankee, and Senator/PPT Scott to get caught up to speed on things that are currently going on, plans for what comes next, and discussing the direction we intend to go long-term.
