An America that's somewhat analogous to House of Cards, where Hillary is elected VP in 1996 and runs in 2000 as her husband's chosen successor. Soft progressives are placated by a focus on reinvesting in America after Bill's tough 90s decisions (somewhat like Canadian Liberals did here that same year IRL).
