So problem here is
Was there ballot-stuffing? Almost certainly yes.
Was it on both sides? Also yes
Did it change the outcome? Almost certainly not. This was fought pretty straightforwardly along tribal lines.
The problem is that for Odinga to admit that after three defeats means implicitly admitting he can never be President and that the opposition should move on and back someone else. Hence his ability to remain in control of the opposition depends on casting the election as fraudulent, less because he thinks he won, than that he need people to believe he could win in the future.
To nitpick it's really bad to use language like this when describing Kenyan politics; yes ethnicity plays an overwhelming role, but it's not 'tribal'. We'd never describe European/American politics as being clan/tribal etc
