Who out of the 3 will be the best female candidate considering Warren doesn't run? Who is the best challenger to the Bernie wing.

Harris is insanely boring, like Martin O'Malley type boring. You hear her interview & you see weakness, lack of confidence & flat out boredom which will put you into sleep. Gillibrand swears & is occasionally fiesty & has a smile on her face. Klobuchar is a smart, good looking woman who has some charisma & can speak. She is also sort of a moderate in today's environment or the most centrist of the 3.

Gun to your head if you had to chose - Klobuchar or Gillibrand or Harris?

I will probably take Gillibrand.

Klobuchar is a smart, good looking young man who has some charisma & can speak.

Okay...

I think Klobuchar would do be better in the general, but I think Harris is the strongest in the primary. I like them both a lot, but I'd say Harris overall.

Your definition of "young man" is very different from mine.

On paper, I would say Harris is probably the best positioned (at least for the primary).  But that being said, I can't fight the sneaking suspicion that she's being over-hyped, is a paper tiger, and will have a "Rubio moment."

So I guess Gillibrand.

Which is unfortunate, since I prefer her the least out of the three.  Klobuchar, I like the most... but of course, she probably has the worst chances of these 3.

Gillibrand has a great personality, funny, charismatic. The only problem is that she'd be very resemblant of Hillary.

Klobuchar seems boring but a solid legislator. I guess comparable to Kerry and Gore.

I personally like Harris, but I think she's just cursed by her geography. If she were from any other state (other than like Hawaii) she'd be a heavy favorite.

Harris > Gillibrand > Klobuchar, but I'd be satisfied with any of them and very happy with either of the first two. Klobuchar is more non-descript, but that does not necessarily mean she'd be a bad candidate, though the mention above of a passing political resemblance to John Kerry is probably accurate.

Klobuchar is absolutely the weakest, both for the primary and the general. A quintessential paper tiger with very little charisma...I just can't see anyone getting excited about her.

I'd say Harris and Gillibrand are in a similar position, giving a slight edge to Harris for the primary and a slight edge to Gillibrand for the general. Harris might be more exciting to millennials and racial minorities, but Gillibrand has significantly more charisma and more crossover appeal. Both could come across as "coastal elites," but Gillibrand has a proven record of winning over moderate, rural upstaters. I agree that the Hillary comparisons will weaken her chances, but hopefully she can quash them by coming across as more progressive, more charismatic, and more likable (all of which, she is).

Some folks say that Gillibrand is like Hillary Clinton, but Klobuchar's the one who I think is most like a redux of the Hillary Clinton from the 2000s: Eager to work with Republicans in order to prove her bipartisan bona fides.  Klobuchar's even on the HRC page wrt advocating a hawkish foreign policy in a way that goes beyond what the other likely candidates would advocate.

And I don't think that's going to work in the primaries.  I think Gillibrand has a better sense of the party's mood with regard to how she talks about the political opposition.  That is, villainize them.  Klobuchar (so far) doesn't seem to spend enough time doing that, relative to what the Democratic primary voters would likely hope for.  She's too fixated on "Minnesota nice".

Gillibrand, but I honestly don't think she is going to run so I'm sticking with Harris.

Klobuchar is a smart, good looking young man who has some charisma & can speak.

As a young man, I protest the use of it as an umbrella term to describe the entire human species.

Anyway, probably Harris, followed by Klobucher.

Gillibrand.

Klobuchar is essentially a Blue Dog Dem who wants everyone to like her, so she votes for corporate stuff and emphasizes what a good friend she is with all the Republicans.

The only things she votes for is bills that 95% of Americans support. She is a joke.

Harris, for single payer, but all are fine and I have no major qualms with any of them.
