JASON KANDER WINS MISSOURI SENATE RACE

2016 U.S. Senate Race in Missouri (final results)

✔ Secretary of State Jason Kander (Democratic) - 1,372,721 (48.8%)
Senator Roy Blunt (Republican) (incumbent) - 1,315,432 (46.8%)
Jonathan Dine (Libertarian) - 67,738 (2.4%)
Johnathan McFarland (Green) - 30,743 (1.1%)
Fred Ryman (Constitution) - 25,407 (1%)

Kander Gives Victory Speech

Early in the morning of a dreary day for most Democrats, the Associated Press projected that Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander had defeated incumbent Republican Senator Roy Blunt.

In his victory speech, Kander pledged that no matter who may win the concurrent presidential election, he will fight for Missouri and break party lines to stand up for his state's values. 

Blunt Concedes Race to Kander

Senator Roy Blunt, who had been in public service for over three decades, offered his concession to Senator-elect Jason Kander. Blunt offered his congratulations to the new Senator, and said he sent warm wished to Kander and his family.

Missouri's Governor's Race is Too Close To Call

The race between Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster (Democrat) and political newcomer Eric Greitens (Republican) is still too close to call. With over 70% reporting, Koster maintains a very narrow 100 vote lead over Greitens, however the race will be under close watch by both parties tonight. However, with Jason Kander's victory over Senator Blunt, the Democrats are optomistic for a victory here as well.

CHRIS KOSTER WINS MISSOURI'S GOVERNOR'S RACE

2016 Missouri gubernatorial election (final results)

✔ Attorney General Chris Koster (Democratic) - 1,355,978 (48.4%)
Eric Greitens (Republican) - 1,354,779 (48.3%)
Cisse W. Spragins (Libertarian) - 41,154 (1.5%)
Lester Benton Turilli, Jr. (Independent) - 30,019 (1.1%)
Don Fitz (Green) - 21,088 (0.8%)

At 5 AM CST, Attorney General Chris Koster was declared the winner of Missouri's governors race by a margin of 1,199 votes. Despite the closeness of this election, Greitens said he would not contest the election and wished Governor-elect Koster the best of luck.
