oh they're really courting some winners. Dave Mustaine? The guy from, like, the 3rd best Thrash Metal band of the Big Four and the third most popular?

Sounds good - guy may be a top five GOP Governor atm (which says close to nothing), but he'd be a bad Senator probably just like Corker was.

I feel like Corker is saying what just about every GOP senator feels inside. Retirement is a beautiful thing.

Yeah, but let's remember that Corker is still awful on policy.

Of course. I thought that was understood. Corker will never get a lick of credit from me. I just find amusement in GOP infighting.

I'd vote Bredesen obviously, but he'd likely meet the same fate as Linda Lingle and Evan Bayh.

Yep. Generally former officials try to cash out after leaving office. I believe Bredesen was personally wealthy beforehand so it might be less so, but still - the kind of things politicans do when they cash out make it so its kinda hard to become a politician again.

New Mason-Dixon poll

Trump approval: 51/42 (+9)
Haslam approval: 57/30 (+27)
Alexander approval: 44/42 (+2)
Corker approval: 40/48 (-8)

Democrats are so stupid. They love everyone who says something even remotely anti-Trump, even when they vote with Trump over 90% of the time lol. I guess Republicans are the same way because all Corker has done is criticized Trump a few times.

isn't it ridiculous? I feel very embarrassed for our country that this happens any time a Republican says "Trump's tie is crooked!".
