Lutheran (ELCA)

Lutherans are the OG Protestants.  We believe in salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.  We believe the Bible is the final authority and source for all matters related to faith, doctrine, and salvation.  We believe that God manifests his grace through His Word and His sacraments, which in this case are baptism and communion.

ELCA has a reputation for being wacko liberal, but when you look at the PC(USA) or the United Church of Christ, we're not half bad.

Anglo-Catholic (ACNA), which we somewhat joking say is basically Catholic without the baggage. There are also Evangelical Anglicans who are part of the ACNA.

I reject The Episcopal Church's radical liberalism.

None. I have a lot of loose affiliations. I was ELCA Lutheran as are many of my friends and family so if I'm going to a wedding it's probably one, and if I'm with my family on Christmas that's the Christmas service I'm obviously going to, I was baptized in a Vineyard church that I still occasionally attend, and I'm currently attending a non-denominational church that meets in a Congregationalist church that it's partnered with and split off from a Presbyterian (USA) one but is quite different from either of those denominations. And I've never actually attended an actual Congregationalist or Presbyterian service so I'm definitely not one of them.

Ultimately I have no real denominational loyalty (though a set of litmus tests), if I ever moved I'd be perfectly open to attending any church regardless of denomination*.

*I'll answer it before any asks: "But wait, are you seriously saying you'd go to a Catholic church?"
See the aforementioned litmus tests. Catholicism fail multiple ones. As would any unabashedly conservative Protestant churches, as would the really liberal ones (in terms of theological liberalism, not political)...meaning probably a majority of churches do at the end of the day.

I'm a member of a UU church, which while not a Christian-only church is agreeable to a Christian Universalist such as myself. However, I'm also a regular attendee at two separate ELCA churches and a UMC church, as well as a scond UMC church I attend at least yearly because it's my childhood church but would otherwise not attend.

It depends on the congregation.  The ELCA may be more conservative than some others, but my pastor is pretty liberal, and said people of other religions will go to heaven (of course Jesus is the reason for our salvation, just that that grace is for all).

What denomination are you? What are the major aspects of it?

I am not sure if I qualify to answer this.

I am a Gnostic Christian and in the beginning of Christianity we were a large part of the orthodox church but had a falling out when some Christians, the new Constantine orthodox, became literalists and idol worshipers and tried to kill us all of and burn our scriptures and myths.

Perhaps Christians here might know if they would tolerate my type of Christianity in their Churches.

Some like this Christian denomination would but they are rather on the fringe as well.

Disciples of Christ.  As a member of the Restoration Tradition, the supremacy of the Bible (through the absence of creeds) and an emphasis on the universal, non-denominational nature of the Church are defining aspects of this belief.  Outside of that I try not to think that the Church need hold steadfast theological positions, instead letting individuals interpret such through their personal interaction with Scripture.

The Moravian Church and the Church of England, and through these the Methodist Church, may wish to dispute your first claim. The Waldensians and Lollards and Hussites would also disputed the claim of the Lutherans.

To answer the question, I am a Methodist.

I should add that I have also come to believe in certain elements of Wicca (energy/magick) over the years.  That probably puts me at odds with just about every mainstream Protestant church.  My belief is based on certain experiences I prefer not to go into.

But I also now believe in a literal Satan who is as responsible for evil in the world as free will.  Although I'm still agnostic on the question of eternal damnation.

Maybe at some point I'll just list what I believe in as a Christian currently, although I do change in my theology often.  All that's remained constant is my belief in Jesus Christ.
