Of course she will speak and that's how it should be. She won the popular vote against both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump by millions of votes. She's the people's President.

Did Kerry speak in 2008? I'm forgetting.

I know Gore spoke in 2004.
Yes.

Bernie Sanders will not be the nominee. What he and his deranged stans want will not be a factor.

It's crazy how you hacks think that the movement is just going to go away even if Bernie or whatever progressive you decide to villify doesn't get the nomination. The Bernie coalition is basically the half of the Obama coalition that's under 25, it's the future.
Nevertheless, who and what Bernie Sanders wants on stage at the 2020 DNC is irrelevant. If Hillary Clinton wants a spot she will have it.

Hillary Clinton will speak and get a standing ovation when she does so. The people who would not vote for the 2020 nominee because HRC speaks for 10 minutes three to four months prior to the election was never going to vote Democrat. I can't wait to hear her full throated endorsement of the first female president if the nominee is Warren, Gillibrand, or Harris.

We shall see about the 2020 nominee "begging" Bernie for anything. I'm sure he and his platform will be significant and that's fine. I don't hate his policies and I just find his personality to be unpalatable.

No-one votes against a Dem nominee because HRC spoke for that person. That is childish. As a Dem nominee, she should ideally speak. However Clinton's approvals are at 30%, she is dull, inspiring & a mediocre speaker who generates no enthusiasm & has honesty/authenticity perception issues. If a Clinton will be a key speaker, that will be Bill Clinton & not Hillary. The prime time speakers be Bill Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Obama & the 2020 Nominee.

Sanders is a sitting Senator who will be there till 2024. He is an independent who doesn't have the bounds of party loyalty & can turn against anyone at any time. He has the crown jewel of all email lists, a generation devoted to him & multiple offshoots, organizations, strong fundraising & grassroots support from the Dem base, passionate people who run podcasts supporting him & so on. The Dem Nominee needs the "Berniecrats."
We certainly shall see!

He wrote an essay about women enjoying intercourse with multiple men, 50 years back, big deal. This is the reason why I say you make dumb statements. You have Trump, a racist & a Birther who wants to ban all Muslims, kill the children & family of terrorists, steal oil from Iraq, who is on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women & the size of his d*** in a GOP debate, bashed disabled people & says Kelly was menstruating & you come with some essay Sanders wrote 50 years back when he was 25 or 27 or 29 or whatever.

FDR cheated on his wife. JFK cheated on his wife. They are widely known Presidents who cheated while in office. And no1 gives a sh**t. LBJ was a total dic* who did multiple shady stuff. You have no clue as to what electability means.

FDR and JFK never:

1. Praised breadlines in communist countries as "a good thing".
2. Openly bragged about how women enjoy being raped in their fantasies.
3. Openly praised Fidel Castro for his sick actions.
4. Said that "white people don't know what it's like to be poor" as a pathetic way to pander to minorities.
5. Failed to get single payer passed in their home state.
6. Dumped nuclear waste on a poor Hispanic community.
7. Voted against amber alert.
8. Voted for the crime bill.
9. Praised communist countries like Venezuela.
10. Said they didn't believe in charities.
11. Said they were "excited about the revolution in Cuba".
12. Were bums during most of their adult lives.
13. Lost black voters by 60+ points in their primaries.

Sanders has more dirt on him than any politician in this country. He would get annihilated in a GE if it weren't for the hyper-polarized electorate.

14. Had a wife under federal investigation for embezzling money from a college.
15. Touted an anti-war record but voted for a military mission in Yugoslavia which resulted in a staffer resigning and constituents being arrested at their office.
16. Attended an anti-American rally in Nicauguara while chants of "death to Yankees" filled the streets.
