the fact the sign was in Boston made it confusing as to whether it was pro-racist or anti-racist.

Nothing to do with Boston, but my first thought when I saw this last night was that this was some alt-right loser.

I legitimately thought this was some alt-right protest before opening the thread.

How is saying "RACISM IS ALL-AMERICAN!!!" going to make people stop being racist? If anything, it will encourage more racism by tying it to patriotism?

Also assumed it was a racist protest when I saw the sign. Since so many people are taking the opposite of the intended meaning from it it really was a poor way of getting their message across.

It is good that they raise awareness, but they only alienate people and some of those people grow more angry and resentful. Period.

Plus, white liberal hipsters aren't really popular anyways.
