Hillary Clinton announces second run for president

"I'm getting ready to do something, too. I'm running for president."

In a short YouTube video, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that she would be running for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in 2016. This was expected by many pundits as polls indicated she would be the favorite to be the 2016 nominee. Despite the Republicans dragging up Benghazi to mud-sling against her, Clinton remained as one of the most popular politicians in the country.

Bernie Sanders announces campaign for president

In front of the Capitol Building, Independent Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont announced that he would also seek the 2016 Democratic nomination for President of the United States. He emphasized the need for more economic reforms and expanding healthcare for all. Some pundits considered him a threat to Secretary Clinton's candidacy, however in a majority of polls, Clinton led Sanders by double digits.

Biden mulls joining the upcoming election

Vice President Joe Biden, a man who had been in public service for decades, began mulling a potential bid for the presidency against Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders. However, Biden lacked an exploratory committee, and entering a race late could harm his chances at the nomination. Biden also feared that a bitter primary between him and Secretary Clinton could cause the party to be divided and hand the White House to a Republican, undoing all the work he and President Barack Obama had done together.

I mean no offense by this, but are you sure writing 3 TL's at once is the best idea?

I have a schedule worked out. There will be updates for McCain's Way this weekend, while an update for Brighter Days Ahead will come after. However, this and McCain's Way will be updated much more frequently than Brighter Days Ahead as I have more ideas for these timelines.

Joe Biden: No on presidential run
With Secretary Hillary Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders, former Governor Lincoln Chafee, former Governor Martin O'Malley, and former Senator Jim Webb in the running for President as Democrats, one major candidate was absent: Vice President Joe Biden. Biden, who had lost his first born son to cancer in May, was still deciding whether or not to run. But, by October, he had made up his mind. Joined by President Obama and his wife, Jill, the Vice President announced that he would not seek the Democratic nomination for president.

Clinton dominates Democratic field
Despite numerous Democrats attempting to capture the presidential nomination, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dominated her opponents in a majority of polls.

Martin O'Malley - 5%
Undecided - 6%

New Hampshire primary polling

Martin O'Malley - 4%
Undecided - 9%
