Honeycrisp apples are not "new"!  They were first released to the public in 1991, compliments of the University of Minnesota Smiley  They are, however, delicious!

Yes.  Honeycrisps, Fuji, and Golden Delicious are some of my favorites.

Of course not. Pears are better for both eating and cooking. I love making pear tarte tatin.

No, my lips swell a but when I eat them and my throat gets itchy. I avoid apples when I can

I'm a registered democrat despite my avatar, though I usually pick the "I/O" option in polls on here.

I LOVE apples. Especially pink lady apples. Pink ladies are my absolute favorite. They're like if an apple and a pear had wild hot sex and created a new kind of fruit in a beautiful explosion of delicious sweetness.

Probably the one thing allegedly edible that I hate in practically all forms.

I'm a registered, albeit not self-identified, Democrat, and I voted Yes. Honestly, aside from Apple Juice, I'm not a big fan of apples, but I'll eat them if there's nothing better around.

I love apples.  Honeycrisps are a favorite!  The right combo of sour, tart, and sweet.  It makes great apple cider.

When I drink, I prefer cider over beer every time.  Pear cider is good too, though.

I discovered honey crisp apples here in the glorious Hudson Valley (which is big on apples). And yes, they rule. They are more expensive, but worth every penny. Which reminds me of the need to go to a Hudson area estate owned by the same family for 200 years, with an historic house, that in season (like now), has this gig where you wander around the 100 acres of orchards, picking apples, including those honey crisp puppies, for 15 bucks a bag.

Sure. Though I prefer apples to be used in things, such as cider or pie, then just plain.

It's not that I don't like apples. It's that I rarely want to eat an apple. I find them dry... but any apple product is great though. You name it, apple pie, apple sauce, apple juice, apple cider, hard cider, etc.
