I know it's trolling...but the constitution only says he can't be sworn in, not that he can't run...great way to mess with Trump.

Might Bill Weld run at the top of the Libertarian ticket in 2020?

I'm actually surprised by this, based on how jaded he seemed about the LP in general toward the end of the 2016 election. He seemed to distance himself from Johnson to maintain his credibility as Johnson started to... lose it, a bit.

As I see it, Trump will not run for re-election. Vice President Pence, Still very popular among republicans and some moderates, will seek re-election. We will be running against either Sherrod Brown or Kirsten Gillibrand. As I see it today, it will be a very close race.

In what world will Trump not run for re-election if given the option?

He probably wouldn't run as a Democrat, but this shows he could get a lot of support running third party in Texas.

Not necessarily. The poll was essentially set up as "Trump v. The Democrat which happens to be Mark Cuban." I assume that most of the people who answered Cuban in this poll would vote for the Democrat in any scenario just to counter Trump. The only way to have a better idea of how he'd do in a three-way race is to poll exactly that.

A Winfrey vs. Trump election might well be the very beginning of the end of democracy in America.

Citizen's United was also one of those turning points, I'd say.

Definitely non-biased source ResistCovefe with an article about a possible future in politics for Ivanka Trump.

Never seen a more embarrassing name for a blog. Or whatever that site is, I'm not clicking on it.

For the second year in a row, Bernie Sanders will give his own response to the State of the Union, separate from the official Democratic response:

Ugh, seriously, what an attention-seeking snob. As if there will be any difference between his message and that of Kennedy III.

Yes, can't think of too many differences between a socialist's response to the President and a capitalist's...

Why is O'Malley even pretending he's not running for President again?

The Boston Globe has a story about the potential presidential ambitions of two Massachusettsians (or whatever people from Massachusetts are called)

Massholes.

I was certain that Elizabeth Warren highlighting her belief in compassionate capitalism recently was an attempt to delineate herself from Sanders. It still may be.
