I was thinking that people like Price lose their jobs in normal administrations because they distract the government from passing legislation and launching new initiatives and sap the president's political capital. Since this administration has no real goals or plan to execute beyond undoing Obama's regs and supporting energy companies, and Trump is already down to minority support, it hardly matters if a cabinet secretary causes an embarrassing news story.

Republicans really, really do not want confirmation hearings for a new head of HHS, nor can I imagine who would want that job in the current policy environment.

Do you know how much DeVos has charged the Feds for travel since she started the job?  $184 for a round trip Amtrack ticket to NYC and back.  No cars, no hotels, nothing.  Of course she is stupid rich, but so are most people that high in govt, yet she seems to be one of the few to pay for their own travel.

Most Cabinet members don't have a family plane, though, which she does

they have money, they can fly like the rest of us....they ain't special.
