all of the old people, some of which who deregistered and others who have been out of office for a long time now suddenly coming back and declaring that they know what is best when they have not been paying hardly any attention, if any at all (and looking through past threads does not count lol). (btw this isn't a dig at Oakvale/Potus as both advised me some in the feb - jun period). I do not see why people think they have a right to come back, especially after not caring about the game and/or actively calling others stupid and think that they should be in office. It is probably one of the stupidest dynamics I have seen since registering since June 2016.....fun hint: if you think you are going to save the game....you aren't, especially with old washed up ideas that have no relevance in modern atlasia.

And I might get annoyed by people like Poirot at times, but at least I know people like him, Yankee, Windjammer, Winfield, and even Adam ---- actually care about the game.

Duke spent a good period of time in-active after he left the Senate following his narrow defeat to Snowguy for President in Oct 2011. Rather than jump in and run against Nappy say in October 2012 (which Nappy was begging for, literally, he was practically on his knees begging me or Duke to run against him, he even told me so two years ago ), he instead ran for IDS legislator and served multiple terms before becoming Vice President and then ultimately President.

     I suspect it is a matter of humbleness. Some folks understand the need to rebuild themselves and their images, starting from the ground up once more. Other folks are confident in jumping back in and acting as if nothing ever happened. Those people might find other old-timers to affirm them, but they soon hit a wall in that their way of thinking is outmoded and unpersuasive to the bulk of the populace.

Well I don't qualify as of the first line. I have consistently held office, except for a short break just prior to the reset (like 3 weeks until I became Judicial Overlord) and of course that two month vacation to Brazil that Hagrid bought for me in February 2015, since July 2009.
