Even in this universe NBC’s predictions are horrible. Why is Utah not Republican?

I am excited for this, though.

"We now have poll closings from a ton of states.

Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee will go to Jeb Bush

Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine's state and 1 CD, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and D.C. will go to Secretary Clinton

no surprise here, Arkansas will go to Jeb Bush, 6 electoral votes.

10:00 PM

We now have poll closings from some states.

Utah has been called for Jeb. We can also predict Nebraska's CD 2 for him as well.

Iowa, Montana and Nevada are too close to call.

Also, we can call North Carolina for Bush

Bush: 169
Clinton: 140
Too Close to Call: 132

10:37

We can now call Michigan for Clinton, 16 Electoral Votes. We can also call Georgia for Jeb Bush, 16 Electoral Votes

Bush: 185
Clinton: 156

11:00 PM

We now have 82 Electoral Votes in poll closings.

California, Hawaii and Washington have been called for Clinton

Idaho has been called for Bush.

Oregon is too early to call, as the email returns have not come in yet.

We can now also call Colorado for Clinton and Montana for Bush.

1:00 AM

Alaska and its 3 Electoral Votes have gone to Jeb Bush.

Clinton: 232
Bush: 195

1:24 AM

Oregon, though no results are in, has been called for Hillary Clinton. The Emails may have glitched.

Here's a map of the map with the swing states in a lighter color based on who is leading in the state:

Currently, this would result in a 269-269 tie.

1:37

Florida has been called for Jeb Bush. He was Governor in the state from 1999-2007.

Clinton: 239
Bush: 224

2:03 AM

Arizona and Iowa have been called for Governor Jeb Bush. Barack Obama carried Iowa in both of his election campaigns. Arizona has been a safe Republican state for a long time, but the Latino voters turned out for Hillary Clinton. This adds 17 Electoral Votes to Jeb Bush's total.

We can also now project Wisconsin for Secretary Clinton. This state was more competitive than usual, as Scott Walker, the Governor, campaigned for Jeb heavily in the state. But, Clinton still won in the end. 10 Electoral votes.

This leaves four states: Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Hampshire that are too close to call. All 4 states went to Barack Obama in both '08 and '12.

Clinton: 249
Bush: 241
Too Close to Call/Up for Grabs: 48

2:30 AM

We can now project that the 4 electoral votes out of New Hampshire will go to Jeb Bush. The state has not gone to the GOP since 2000, when his brother won it.

Clinton: 249
Bush: 245
