As promised, with the mandate repeal now being included, I withdraw my endorsement of the Senate Bill and urge all Senators to oppose it.

Just what the hell did you think was going to happen with a tax cut? They were going to try to do this anyways -- now they're just being more open with it.

I swear token moderates jizz over tax cuts without realizing... cutting taxes means you either have to cut from somewhere (health care), or you add a lot to the deficit.

Wulfric, remember that Mccain voted against the Bush tax cuts because they would raise the national debt too much and were too much of a handout to wealthy Americans. And then a few years later, when the national debt rose, he said "I was right".

I don't think Mccain is as likely to support this as you say he is. I would imagine he is more likely to vote against it than most of the GOP'ers who have recently come out against it.

If it is indeed necessary to vote again, and this vote is 50-50, it could make people more motivated to turn out for Doug Jones.

...And it can make people more motivated to turn out to vote for Roy Moore.

Why are all these Democrats voting against sending it back to committee?
Because they are left wing hacks who don’t want any tax cuts!

You know why you were surprised about Gillespie losing by so much?

Because you don't realize how damn huge income inequality is in America.

This tax bill does not solve income inequality; in fact, it actually makes it even worse.

It's why this bill is so unpopular. Guess what: This bill is literally more unpopular than both Bill Clinton and George H W. Bush's tax raises. How the hell do you make a tax cut more unpopular than a tax raise? You have to be a special kind of incompetent to do that.

Once the republicans realize this trickle down garbage doesn't work (and moderate on basically every issue), I will rejoin their party. Until then, they can go to hell.

Lots of salt in here.

I love it.

Mandate repeal, arctic drilling, and huge tax relief.

Me and my parents taxes go up a lot (about $3,000 a year) to pay for taxes for rich people.

Do you understand why I'm upset at this? It's not just "salt" lol.

But of course Greedo, the 2 year old preschooler who hasn't worked or paid taxes in his life, is celebrating while I pay more taxes for his dumb butt.

This bill is not perfect but a great start.

Easy to say while you're sitting on your couch eating Doritos and praising Jesus while working class men like my Dad who risk their lives every day to protect this country (cop) have to pay $3,000 a year or more in taxes.

It’s great salt I should repealed now the voters are forced to elect republicans in blue states.

My working class policeman father can't hear you over the sound of the Doritos you're munching on your gold throne that was handed to you from your parents.

I too appreciated how Joe Manchin took the floor to say "I'm a stupid asshole and even I can't vote for this thing"

Josephine Womanchin is a national treasure and I am deeply offended that you insulted her majesty.
