In moderation, fast food is not bad for you.
They have some excellent salads that I buy. Grilled chicken as a topping with their low-fat vinaigrette dressing. That is a healthy meal.

I've always thought the fish sandwich was pretty legit, since we're mentioning not bad items on the McDonalds menu.

I don't think it's any worse from you than any of the other burger spots, they just get singled out since they're the most successful.

Personally, I'm all for the slightly less draconian measure of banning the sale of fast food products (like McDonalds) to those under 18. Adults should be free to eat what they choose, even if it kills them.

What about the 5 million other fast food brands or junk food companies? I guess you could tax junk/fast food and use that to subsidize fruits and vegetables if you really want to try something. That is if you have no problem using taxation to regulate behavior. Of course we do it a lot already so probably not a big deal. I would benefit from the move so I support it.
