2020: Pence/Moore v Booker/Franken v Kasich/Crist

Donald Trump is successfully removed from office in mid-2019. After Vice-President Pence pardons Trump for crimes committed during Russiagate, as well as its coverup, ala Gerald Ford, Republicans nominated the new incumbent, who after originally nominating and confirming Nikki Haley as Vice-President, chooses to replace her with Roy Moore, who had been elected Senator in 2017.

Democrats nominate Cory Booker, who chooses Al Franken as his running mate, after a long and bitter primary process against Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden.

Also running is the Independent candidacy of John Kasich who is running because of the "corrupt bargain" between Trump and Pence, and chooses Charlie Crist as his running mate.
