Multiple casualties have been reported and there is a large amount of police activity all over Tropicana and the Strip.

Shooter identified as 64-year old Stephen Paddock. 10 rifles were found in his hotel room. Preliminary death toll is 58, with over 500+ injured.

The videos are insane. Those were multiple light machine guns (LMGs) going off on a crowd of thousands.

There will be 100+ casualties.

On another note, does anybody know what kind of gun that was? It sounded almost like a machine gun in terms of how quickly the shots were coming, but I'm far from an expert on such things.

LVMPD is reporting one suspect is in custody, suggesting there are more. It certainly sounds like there were multiple gunmen in some of the videos.

I'm listening to MSNBC. The guy said a sub-machine gun or M4.

Always take early reports of multiple shooters with a grain of salt, many times folks on the ground have no idea what sounds are coming from what or confuse police operations as being part of the attack.

Sarcasm. I assumed you were on the same page as myself. If the shooting deaths of 20 elementary school students doesn't get our gun laws into check, nothing will. This makes me literally sick to my stomach. If I had children, I'd honestly be afraid to raise them in this country.
