No. At a minimum, Democrats aren't going to nominate somebody who voted against the ACA because it was too far to the left. Peterson wouldn't even win his home state in the primaries.

Peterson was against the ACA and pro-life.

That he's pro-life is a plus with me, but being wrong (for the Dems) on BOTH of these issues makes him a non-starter.

A good question to ask is the question of just what exactly has Collin Peterson done to make him Presidential material.  Steve King has been in Congress a long time now; is HE Presidential material?  He's a backbencher, a guy who you'd run for Senate if you were in a tossup state with a tiny GOP lean.  He's not a Paul Ryan, or even a Steny Hoyer.
