Romney takes Michigan, Nevada. Huckabee takes South Carolina; Giuliani might suspend campaign

Mitt Romney won Michigan, the state where his father was governor. Also, he won Nevada by a very large margin. Mike Huckabee took South Carolina and all its delegates. Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani has apparently contemplated suspending his campaign after falling behind Fred Thompson in delegate counts, but is still ahead in polls. If he does not do well on Super Tuesday, he’ll call it quits.

Delegate Results:

Michigan:
Mitt Romney: 26
Mike Huckabee: 2
Rudy Giuliani: 2

Nevada:
Mitt Romney: 26
Mike Huckabee: 3
Ron Paul: 3
Fred Thompson: 2

South Carolina:
Mike Huckabee: 24

Fmr. Governor Mitt Romney: 90
Fmr. Governor Mike Huckabee: 45
Rep. Ron Paul: 14
Fmr. Senator Fred Thompson: 12
Fmr. Mayor Rudy Giuliani: 8

Hillary takes Nevada and Michigan; Obama not endorsing yet

Delegate results:

Michigan:
Hillary Clinton: 140
Dennis Kucinich: 16

Nevada:
Hillary Clinton: 20
John Edwards: 14

Hillary Clinton: 113
John Edwards: 37
Dennis Kucinich: 23
Joe Biden: 3
Chris Dodd: 1 (withdrawn)

Yes, it?s been months.

It?s complicated

*************************************************************************************************************

Since I?ve taken a leave of absence, I?ll be skipping the rest of the primaries and doing a pre-election rundown, then give the election results.

Hillary sweeped the rest of the primaries for the Democrats.

Romney and Huckabee went down to the wire with Huckabee coming out on top.

Let?s get into it.

*************************************************************************************************************

Running Mate Selections, 2008

Hillary Clinton has easily won the primaries and has released a shortlist for her running mate selection.

Retired General Wesley Clark from Arkansas
Senator Barack Obama from Illinois
Senator Dianne Feinstein from California

Mike Huckabee also released a shortlist.

Former Governor Mitt Romney from Massachusetts
Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas
Senator Lisa Murkowski from Alaska

We now go live to New York, New York where Hillary is announcing her running mate selection.

?After very serious consideration, I, and my campaign, have decided that former General Wesley Clark is the best fit to be then next Vice President of the United States.?

And now to Little Rock, Arkansas, where Huck is announcing his choice.

?The next Vice President of the United States, Mitt Romney!?
