I need to take a break from this site. I'm under a lot of RL stress, plus I'm sick, so I really just need a little time to recharge.

This is why I am announcing this now, as the Senate currently has only a few bills on the floor.

When I get back, I would like to have a compromise worked out on the carbon tax being considered in the House. Also, the Senate has made many changes to the foreign policy bill, so the House should catch up on those soon. I will also resume budget talks with the BPC.

In the interim, Deputy PPT R2D2 is now in charge. R2, I request that you do not present legislation I have sponsored, as I will not be here to advocate for it.

Thank you. I will catch up on all Senate business when I return.
