Back on July 31st, I made a post on Atlas that cited an article that predicted Trump would do something like this. The explanation for why he'd pursue this is even more unsettling.

It's idiotic and will make both Israel and America less secure.  Iran had been complying with the the terms of the agreement.  If anything, Trump's actions mean they'll probably get nuclear weapons much sooner than they otherwise would.

Ed: not to mention, this decision will make it much more difficult to strike multilateral agreements with so-called belligerent nations, principally North Korea. This, combined with the decision on Paris is signalling to the global community that the Unites States' word is dirt and is subject to change by administration.

Opposing the Iran Deal is not just a concern of American Jews or Israel, many foreign policy hawks who are not Jewish strongly oppose this deal as well.

The Jordanians, the Saudis and the other gulf states are almost strongly oppose to a rogue and dangerous Iranian presence. Israel is far from the only country opposed to a Radical Iran.
