Eisenhower was the general who stopped the regime that was perpetrating The Holocaust and he made a strong effort liberate the concentration camps and document The Holocaust, so why did Jewish voters go for Stevenson?

He also enforced Brown v. Board, signed civil rights legislation and appointed a pro-civil rights SC justice and lost the Black vote.  Voters don't usually vote on those symbolic victories if you're not advocating specific policy measures that they support, and Jewish voters have traditionally supported Democratic policies.

Traditional Democratic loyalties  Eisenhower did however increase the Jewish vote for the GOP considerably.
