Illinois of course (Lincoln, Grant, Obama).

New York produced some pretty good ones, but it's weighed down significantly by the likes of Fillmore and the orange clown.

Virginia (Tyler was horrible but the rest are top 10 presidents, and have two presidents in the top 5).

New York due to the Roosevelt's. Though Virginia (Washington), Illinois (Lincoln), and Massachusetts (Kennedy) produced some great ones too.

Just noticed that Ohio has a strange habit of getting duds elected president.

The Lincoln + Obama combo pushes Illinois ahead of Virginia, barely.

And also nearly all of them are very similar in nature. 3 are named William, most are from the gilded age, and nearly all are virtually unknown except maybe for William McKinley and Harding.

Illinois.

If we were going by birth states, Kentucky, or if we have to choose one with more than one, Massachusetts.

Maine, after I become president.

The Lincoln + Obama combo pushes Illinois ahead of Virginia, barely.
Hypothetically, if we were to get President McAuliffe, would Virginia overtake Illinois?

At that point we would have 3 of the 4 greatest presidents ever. It wouldn't be fair.
