Just curious about non-incumbent candidates who aren't white men (so either women or non-white men) who have a plausible chance of winning in 2018. Here's a partial list:

CO: Cary Kennedy (D), Donna Lynne (D)
FL: Andrew Gillum (D), Gwen Graham (D)
GA: Stacey Abrams (D), Stacey Evans (D)
HI: Colleen Hanabusa (D)
KS: Carl Brewer (D)
ME: Janet Mills (D), Diane Russell (D)
MD: Rushern Baker (D), Ben Jealous (D), Krishanti Vignarajah (D)
MA: Jay Gonzalez (D), Setti Warren (D)
MI: Gretchen Whitmer (D), Abdul El-Sayed (D)
MN: Tina Liebling (D), Erin Murphy (D), Rebecca Otto (D)
NM: Michelle Lujan-Grisham (D)
NV: Chris Giunchigliani (D)
OH: Mary Taylor (R), Connie Pillich (D), Nan Whaley (D), Betty Sutton (D)
OK: Connie Johnson (D)
SD: Kristi Noem (R)
TN: Diane Black (R), Beth Harwell (R)
WI: Kathleen Vinehout (D)
WY: Mary Throne (D)

Thanks for the correction, I've updated the list. I've also bolded the two candidates who I figure are probably the front-runners in their race. Did I miss anyone (I'm going to hold off on Collins until she actually gets in the race)?

Also, just to be clear, I'm talking about non-incumbent candidates.

So, does that mean that Kay Ivey is staying in office?

It's too bad Sue Bell Cobb didn't run against Moore. She's the strongest statewide Democrat and would've had a pretty good chance of winning.

Eh, I think Jones is about as good as any other potential candidate. I can't really see any Democrat doing much better than a 3-4% loss in Alabama.

Cobb would have been a far superior senatorial candidate, especially if she is prolife.

Mary Taylor won't get the GOP nomination. Mike DeWine will win the GOP primary.

Sue Bell Cobb has won statewide before, which is more than Doug Jones can say, at least at the moment.
