It's too bad Sue Bell Cobb didn't run against Moore. She's the strongest statewide Democrat and would've had a pretty good chance of winning.

Eh, I think Jones is about as good as any other potential candidate. I can't really see any Democrat doing much better than a 3-4% loss in Alabama.
Sue Bell Cobb has won statewide before, which is more than Doug Jones can say, at least at the moment.
