I think she could be a strong candidate, similar to Tammy Duckworth, but neither one seems to show any interest so far.  I have yet to hear any legislation that Masto has pushed. She has the pros of Kamala Harris without the negatives that are known (mostly the Mnuchin case and criminal justice record in CA).

I think the more likely explanation is Trump has revealed the TRUE personalities of a lot of people. Basically, the Emperor (Leftism) has no clothes.

Cathy Masto (dunno why people keep using her full name) will still be younger than 60 in 2020, and we just had an election between two 70 year olds. Her age is no issue. The issue is that she's a blank slate re: how she defines herself politically. I, for example, don't know what she stands for. If she defines herself by her gender and ethnicity then that's not good enough to win an election.
