Only about one in five Americans under age 35 approve of the President (22%)

Sad!

His 538 average is plummeting. +/- is him now versus a week ago.

Approve: 39.1% (-2.3)
Disapprove: 55.6% (+2.5)

I think we can all agree this is because of Parkland.

A slight tweak -- it is because of the President's bungled response to the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

This President is more likely to look to advocates of special interests than to the experts for policy changes.

I attended and took the straw poll and all of the non-demographic questions asked about Trump or policies (which are covered in that article) plus one about what issues you care most about (not mentioned in that article).

Were you there for Charen's speech?  What were your observations?

No, I did not see her speech.  I was only in the main ballroom for Trump, Pence, La Pierre (because he spoke before Pence), Laura Ingrahm (she spoke before Trump) Eric Trump, the live Hannity show, and the Reagan Dinner featuring Scott Pruitt and Judge Jeanine due to attending other events around CPAC and volunteering for a couple different conservative groups (plus, I did not attend Saturday at all).

Bad bad numbers for Trump in those Suffolk and CNN polls. But they are big, big outliers compared to more respectable polls like Rasmussen and Morning Consult, and we should treat them as such.
