So what? Why does it matter that he raped children? Despite his horrible policies, I'm sure Hastert is a great person who just has a few flaws. Who here hasn't made a mistake?

Hastert led the 'Do Nothing Congress', I don't think this is the guy you'd pick to lecture Trump and the GOP about legislative accomplishments.

That is because Hastert was nothing but a front man for Tom Delay. Once Delay was gone, Hastert was worthless.
