ok so I looked up what the actual color of the shoe is. Turns out I am one of the 27% who see its actual colors (and one of the 18% who see the actual colors of both things!)

I have always seen the dress as black and blue and I have no idea how people see white or gold at all.

I saw it once as gold and black. DER SPIEGEL, Germany's biggest magazine, lists the most interesting articles of the day in its online forum on the right side of the screen, and they put small thumbnails next to those links.
When I saw the thumbnail showing the dress for the first time I perceived it as white and gold - for the first and last time ever. When I opened the article, the big picture clearly showed a black and blue dress; when I went to the forum after I got confused, the small thumbnail showed the dress as black and blue and I never saw the beautiful version again...

76% perceive the shoe as teal/gray and 18% perceive it as pink/white.
I belong to the 6% in the middle, cause the gray looks a bit pinkish, especially at the top of the shoe.
